Social has fast moved from a little brand dabbling, to a fully encompassed part of brand business strategy. After all, a connected business is certain of success over a business that remains disconnected and non-adaptive.

Edelman Insights along with David Armano released their social business planning deck detailing his thoughts and findings, claiming that in order for businesses to truly gain value from social initiatives, they must consider how it impacts research and development, human resources, innovation, business intelligence (among other facets) in addition to marketing.
